Yo-Yo Flower DIY

Fleur Yoyo, accessoire, couture

A "classic" among seamstresses is the yo-yo, infinitely variable in its forms and uses. It's even easy enough to be made by children. In this case, Cath took up her needle and thread to make some scrapbooking accessories.

Level: Easy
Creation time:
10 mn

Supplies

Materials

  • Scraps of different fabrics
  • Matching thread
  • Buttons
  • Artificial flowers (store-bought or handmade)

Tools

  • Sewing needle

Instructions

  • Cut a 16 cm (6-1/4 inches) circle of fabric
NB: This makes a final flower of 8 cm (3-1/8 inches).

  • Make the yo-yo.

  • Sew onto its center 1 or multiple flowers and, on top of them, 1 button.
