Alpaca Scarf DIY

Echarpe laine alpagua, tricot, accessoire

This alpaca scarf is soft and warm, stitched using openwork in geometric patterns.

  • Alpaca yarn

Tools

  • Knitting needles, 3.25 mm (U.S. size 3)
  • Scissors

Instructions

  • CO a multiple of 10 plus 4 sts.

  • Work 4 rows in garter stitch.

  • Row 1 : K2, * K2, K2tog, YO, K2, YO, SSK, K2 *. Repeat from * to * to 2 sts before end, K2.

  • Row 2 and all even rows: K2, purl to 2 sts before end, K2.

  • Row 3: K2, * K1, K2tog, YO, K4, YO, SSK, K1 *. Repeat from * to * to 2 sts before end, K2.

  • Row 5: K2, * K2tog, YO, K6, YO, SSK *. Repeat from * to * to 2 sts before end, K2.

  • Row 7: K2, * K1, K2tog, YO, K4, YO, SSK, K1 *. Repeat from * to * to 2 sts before end, K2.

  • Row 9: K2, * K2, K2tog, YO, K2, YO, SSK, K2 *. Repeat from * to * to 2 sts before end, K2.

  • Repeat above rows until desired length is reached.

  • Work 4 rows in garter stitch.

  • Bind off.
